If you could sum up what drives Conley Griggs LLP, it would be those five words. To us, practicing law is not “just a job,” but a professional calling. We believe deeply in helping people, and that is why we chose to become trial lawyers.

We bring dedication to each case we undertake, which to us means we will work as long and as hard as it takes to do the best job we possibly can. To us, dedication also means “hand crafting” our work in each case so that rather than getting “assembly line” legal work, our clients get representation that is specifically suited for the facts and needs of their case.

We believe strongly in litigating every case with integrity, which means to us a deep commitment to honesty, ethics, and candor with our clients, our adversaries, and the Courts in which we appear. Integrity is a key to credibility, which we believe is an integral part of any successful result.

We believe in compassion. We know that for most of our clients, the event that brings them to our door is one of the most significant and difficult events of their life. By responding with compassion, we believe it not only establishes a strong and trusting attorney-client relationship, but also motivates us as we work.

We have the courage to stand up for individuals against insurance companies, mammoth corporations or anyone else who seeks to evade responsibility for their wrongful acts. That courage includes the resolve to press for the information and documents from other parties in discovery even in the face of strong resistance and the willingness to try any case in our office to a jury verdict if the opposition does not offer a settlement that is acceptable to our clients.

In the end, we believe in getting results for our clients. While we do not and can never guarantee a successful result or a recovery when we undertake representation, our clients know that we measure ourselves, at the end of the day, by the results we are able to obtain for them. The dedication, integrity, compassion and courage we bring to a case is aimed at delivering the best result possible for the case.

Aside from those qualities that drive us, there are a couple of other things that are very important to us that we think you should know.

First, by choice, our law firm does not advertise on billboards, print media, television, radio or even in the Yellow Pages. We have always believed in building our practice the “old fashioned way” – through direct relationships with people and by building our name in the public through the results we have been able to obtain for our clients. We are proud to say that most of our clients come to us through referrals from other lawyers, with the remainder being people who have heard about our services through word of mouth, prior results, or from other clients we have represented.

Second, also by choice, our firm does not handle a large volume of cases at any one time. We made that decision long ago so that our clients know, when and if we choose to undertake representation of them, that we will be in a position to give detailed attention, effort and thought to move the case forward as rapidly as possible.

Our office is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in all Georgia courts. We are currently involved in cases in all geographic regions of Georgia, and we will consider representation in cases anywhere in the State of Georgia. Also, while we are not admitted to the bar in any other states, we frequently travel to other states on a case-by-case basis and, with the assistance of local counsel in those states, are handling or have handled cases for clients in West Virginia, Florida, New York, Missouri, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and New Mexico.
