Alyssa is an associate attorney with Conley Griggs Partin LLP. Alyssa specializes in the practice areas of product liability, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, business or commercial litigation, and complex civil litigation. She also works on cases involving sexual assault. She has worked on a number of cases tried to verdict since she began practicing with Conley Griggs Partin in 2015.
Alyssa grew up in Cumming, Georgia, where she attended South Forsyth High School, and then went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in International Studies (B.A. with distinction, 2011). Alyssa then returned to Atlanta, where she earned her J.D. at Emory University School of Law (J.D. with honors, 2014). While at Emory, she served as an executive member of both the Emory Moot Court Society and the Emory Public Interest Committee. Alyssa’s Moot Court team advanced to Nationals in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition in 2014, an honor for only 10 teams nationwide.
Prior to working for Conley Griggs Partin LLP, Alyssa clerked for the Honorable Steve C. Jones, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Georgia. Before that, she worked during law school for the boutique civil litigation firm of Richardson, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman, in Charleston, South Carolina.
Alyssa was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2014, and the Georgia bar in 2015. She is admitted to practice law in all state and superior courts in Georgia, including the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court, as well as all courts in the State of South Carolina. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association. She is a member of the 2017-2018 GTLA LEAD class.
Alyssa lives in Midtown, Atlanta. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys hiking, reading, painting, and exploring Atlanta’s thriving restaurant scene. She also serves as the Chair of GreenLaw’s Leadership Council, which provides community groups with the legal and technical tools needed to protect their environment and public health.
