Anna Marie

Anna Marie joined Conley Griggs Partin as an Associate Attorney in September 2026 after graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Throughout law school, Anna Marie gained practical experience in plaintiff-side civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury matters. She also gained litigation experience through the Western Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office in Athens. These experiences provided hands-on exposure to legal research, case preparation, and client-focused advocacy.

Anna Marie also brings experience in public-sector legal work at both the federal and state levels. As a law clerk with the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary in Washington, D.C., she conducted legal research and provided written analysis to assist Committee members in evaluating constitutional issues and judicial and executive nominations. She later served in the Office of Executive Counsel to Governor Brian P. Kemp, where she analyzed legal issues and contributed to the Office’s work on matters involving Georgia.

At Georgia Law, Anna Marie served on the Editorial Board and Managing Board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Her Note, “Pills, Powders, and Proprietary Blends: The IP and Regulatory Battle Over Dietary Supplement Transparency,” was selected for publication and received the Journal’s award for Best Short Note. She also received an award recognizing her precision in editing and currently serves as a Professional Mentor through the UGA Law Mentorship Program.

Anna Marie earned her B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2023 and her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2026.

Anna Marie is a native of Georgia. Outside of the office, she enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldawgs and spending time with family and friends.
